专利说明:

[0001] The present invention relates to a composite brake disc, specifically for a motor vehicle, which includes a brake disc chamber and a brake ring.
[0002] Currently, it is common to use one-piece brake discs, in which the brake ring and the brake disc chamber are made of cast material. A disadvantage of this type of construction lies in its high unsprung weight. In order to reduce weight, compound brake discs are increasingly used, which have an aluminum chamber and a cast iron brake ring. The weight of such a composite brake disc can be reduced by using this combination of materials, however, the different coefficients of thermal expansion of the materials in the brake disc chamber create problems. Thus, composite disc brakes have also become increasingly available on the market, with brake disc chambers made of steel or any other material with iron. For this purpose, steel plate is preferably used in order to obtain an advantageous reduction in the weight of the brake disc.
[0003] Such a brake disc composed with a brake chamber made of sheet steel and a brake ring is described in patent number DE 10 2009 012 216 A1. In this case, the brake ring includes two parts, namely two friction rings, separated from each other and connected by pins. Thus, channels are formed between the two friction rings due to the separation between the two, through which ambient air flows, allowing the elimination of heat. One of the friction rings is equipped with an internal tooth profile, in which the tooth profile of the brake disc chamber is inserted. To ensure axial safety and a mounting bracket, the clamps and support elements are formed in the brake disc chamber. By using clamps and support elements, a suspended base is obtained in the friction ring of the brake disc chamber, so that a certain part of the action remains in the axial direction and also in the radial direction. Through this process, for example, different amounts of thermal expansion can be adjusted in the friction ring and in the brake disc chamber.
[0004] The present invention is related to the problem of providing an optimized, or at least alternative, version of a brake disc composed of a generic type, with the particular characteristic of having a single simple positioning based on the components of the camera. brake disc and brake ring.
[0005] The present invention is based on the general concept of equipping a brake disc chamber, before its joining process, or at least at its open end, with a toothed profile and forming at least one brake ring the one that is equipped, before the joining process, with an internal toothed face, where the toothed faces of the brake disc chamber and the toothed faces of the toothed profile of the brake ring have different fittings in the junction zone.
[0006] Preferably, the toothed profile of the brake disc chamber has a toothed face in the form of a circular arc, while the toothed profile of the brake ring has toothed faces in the form of a spiral.
[0007] If both profiles are oversized in relation to each other, the two components can be joined by oversizing, there is a tension between the joined individual components, which facilitates the attachment of the brake disc chamber and the brake ring . With this development of the toothed faces on the brake ring and the brake disc chamber, simple positioning of the joined components is achieved by means of a principle of centralization of the toothed faces, whereby the toothed faces of the brake ring and / or the faces cogs in the brake disc chamber can be subject to elastic and plastic deformation during the joining process. Said toothed shape should not be confused with a spiral streak / streak, as described, for example, in DIN 5480, since elastic and plastic deformation occurs in at least one toothed profile. Thus, the described method essentially consists of a construction centered on the face, with the objective of obtaining a certain state of tension, even under different torque tensions and different gears between the brake disc chamber and the brake ring.
[0008] In another advantageous development of the solution according to the present invention, a gap is inserted between the ends of the teeth and the roots of the teeth of the toothed profile, at all operating temperature ranges, so that the ends of the teeth and the roots of the teeth do not have any percentage area of contact and, thus, the torque is essentially transmitted through the faces of the teeth, so the basic characteristics of a concept of centralization of the face of a tooth are presented.
[0009] In addition, the brake disc chamber in an unequipped state, presents a basically conical shape, in which it has a diameter of reference teeth gradually increasing towards its open end. Thus, the increasing elasticity can be compensated and a uniform percentage contact area can also be obtained in the axial direction.
[00010] Furthermore, it is advantageous if the circular arc of the toothed faces on the side of the chamber is arranged similarly to the shape of the toothed face on the brake ring in order to achieve the widest possible contact pattern through the toothed faces, so that the surface pressure remains as low as possible and is distributed as evenly as possible. In this document, the term "contact pattern" refers to the contact zone of the toothed faces with each other in the assembled position.
[00011] During the joining process, at least the brake disc chamber undergoes elastic and elastic-plastic deformation in the region of the union. Through this, a greater and more efficient use of the material is obtained compared to the conventional elastic configuration. It is possible to prove that the elastic-plastic deformation is caused by the stronger pressure forces at the initial joint compared to a second repeated joint process.
[00012] Other important features and advantages of the present invention result from the figures and associated descriptions based on the figures.
[00013] It is evident that the characteristics mentioned above, as well as those that follow, can be used not only in the respective combination presented, but also in several other combinations or in an isolated use, outside the scope of the present invention.
[00014] The preferred exemplary variants of the invention are shown in the figures and are explained in more detail in the following description, in which the same reference symbols refer to the same components or functionally equivalent components.
[00015] The following figures are represented schematically: Fig. 1 shows a brake disc composed of 2 parts according to the invention, with a brake disc chamber and two brake rings; Fig. 2 shows a junction area of the brake disc chamber and a brake ring; Fig. 3 shows a tooth of the brake disc chamber; Fig. 4 shows a pattern of pressure force with the initial and repeated junction; Fig. 5 shows an open end of the brake disc chamber with a surrounding chamfer.
[00016] As shown in Fig. 1, a composite brake disc 1, a brake disc chamber 2 and at least one 3.3 'brake ring. If two 3.3 'brake rings are provided, then these can be connected to each other by means of connecting pins 4 and spaced apart through the same means, in order to form several channels 5 between the brake rings 3 , 3 ', through which the air flows, thus being able to ward off the heat generated by the friction. In a junction zone 6, the brake disc chamber 2 has a toothed profile oriented towards the outside 7 which works in contact with an internal toothed profile of the brake ring 8 of at least one brake ring 3, in such a way that the torque can be transmitted between the brake disc chamber 2 and the brake ring 3.
[00017] In Fig. 2, the junction zone 6 is shown, in which the brake disc chamber 2 is connected to at least one brake ring 3. From this figure it is visible that the brake disc chamber 2 is formed by a thin wall, at least in the junction zone 6, and, at least in the junction zone 6, the initial thickness of the brake disc chamber wall 2 can be, in the unobstructed position, between 1.5 mm and between 5 mm. Preferably, the initial wall thickness is 2.5 mm. In addition, the junction zone 6 can be between 10 mm and 15 mm in length, preferably 12.5 mm in length. A total length in this order can also be used, with a total diameter between 160 mm and 200 mm. In this document, the term "total diameter" refers to a reference diameter of the toothed set 7,8. In this variant with the total lengths and diameters described, the ratio of the total length to the total diameter is clearly greater than 1:10. This is an extreme proportion for common hub and hub connections, and can also be used with other total lengths and diameters.
[00018] The various teeth of the brake disc chamber 9 thus fit into the toothed profile of the brake ring 8, in which respectively an external toothed face of the brake disk chamber 10 is supported on a toothed face of the brake ring 11, so that the torque is essentially transmitted through the toothed faces 10,11.
[00019] Fig. 3 shows a possible arrangement of the tooth of the brake disk chamber 9 with the outer circular toothed face of the brake disk chamber 10. In this variant, the external circular toothed face of the brake disk chamber 10 and the circular internal toothed face of the brake disc chamber 10 'has a circular shape. One end of the tooth of the brake disc chamber 12 adjoins a root of the flat tooth of the brake disk chamber 13. A position in the zone of the flat tooth root of the brake disk chamber 13, internal or external, can be taken as a reference point 14, serving as the center of the circle for the respective circularly toothed faces of the brake disc chamber 10,11.
[00020] Fig. 4 shows a graph relative to the compressive force 15 of a first pressure of the brake disc chamber 2 with which at least one brake ring 3 requires a more intense force than a pressure force trend. 16of a second pressure of the brake disc chamber 2 with at least one brake ring 3. This is demonstrated in a displacement / force diagram 17 in Fig. 4, with the force represented in the axis of ordinates 18 and the displacement represented on the abscissa axis 19. In addition, a curve of the compressive force 20 in the pressure of the brake disc chamber 2 from the brake ring 3 between the first pressure and the second pressure is also shown in Fig. 4. In the displacement / force diagram 17, the compression force curves 15,16 of the first and second pressures of the brake disc chamber 2 with the brake ring 3 imply that the brake ring 3 is subjected to an elastic deformation- plastic in addition to an elastic deformation.
[00021] An open end 21 of the brake disc chamber 2 shown in Fig. 5 can have a chamfer 22, provided outside the brake disc chamber 2. This chamfer 22 can be formed around the toothed faces of the brake chamber brake disc 10, the tooth disc end of the brake disc chamber 12 and / or the tooth roots of the brake disc chamber 13. With this chamfer 22, the brake disc chamber 2 can be more easily connected with and attached to the brake ring 3.
[00022] The following advantages are obtained through the brake disc 1 according to the present invention: - a simple and centered positioning of the joined components 2,3; - a reduction in weight compared to one-piece cast brake discs; - particularly effective use of the material thanks to the elastic-plastic deformation when the brake disc chamber 2 is joined with the 3.3 'brake ring.
